Grimm’s Tree Slices are a set of 16 wooden building blocks in vibrant pastel colours and interesting shapes that are designed to resemble cross-sectional slices of tree trunks or branches. Hand-sanded to ensure smoothness, the blocks are of course wonderfully grippy in the way that Grimm’s blocks always are. They’re an excellent starter set for your child to stack and build.

Being hand-finished, each of Grimm’s beautiful offerings is unique, with slightly different shaping, wood markings, grain, and knots showing through the dyes, and paint finishes. Please note they are not varnished nor lacquered, leaving the timber with a beautiful textural feel. Because of this, some minor paint transfer may occur during play. This is considered normal.
